Size selection:  Follow an existing numerical sequence from your current best fitting eyeglasses or as doctor prescribed *remember to compare to similar styles/shapes; these numbers (ie. 53-17-140) often found on the inside of your eyeglasses' left temple,  are three common measurements - horizontal lens width ("Eye"),  bridge width ("DBL") and Temple length.  See the diagram for details.
